Kansas offers a mixture of Rios & Easterns and we are
loaded with them. Recent years have seen a 100% opportunity for
really nice toms. Turkeys in the 20-24 pound class have been taken
each year. It is common for the beard length to be anywhere from
8-11 inches. One in 1999 that had 4 beards, and in 2000 a 24 pound
double beard was taken. Average shots are 15-20 yards.
